This is the perfect addition to your workshop no matter how big or small it may be. With its small size you wont have to give up much of your precious work space. This grinder works well for all of your sharpening, shaping and deburring needs regardless of your trade or hobby. If your a wood worker its perfect for sharpening your hand or lathe chisels, you could even form wood to the desired contour. If you happen to be a welder it works great for deburring parts, putting a radius, grinding welds, the list goes on. If your a knife marker it works perfectly to form your masterpiece from start to finish. For a machinist this grinder would be perfect to form your HSS and for deburring parts. Having this addition in your shop will prove to be invaluable tool, you may even find yourself asking how did I live so long without this.
Unlike many of the other grinders on the market you get to choose your own motor or even use the bench grinder you already own. Having this option was the focus of the design. If you're like me, the other grinders on the market just seemed like a money pit, once you buy the "frame" you then have to get wheels, a motor, and sometimes a VFD! Also if your just starting and you get more serious about your trade you can upgrade you motor without altering your grinder.  Another focus of the design was to make the angles precise and easy to adjust. You choose the angle for your work rest anywhere from 15-90 in 5 degree increments. When you push the pin into appropriate location you don't have to think about it again. You can have confidence that your work will be ground at that exact degree.
THE MOTOR ISNT INCLUDED. You must send a message with the bore size you will need so we can send the proper drive wheel. If you haven’t chosen a motor you can still order and we will complete your order but wait to ship until we hear from you about the bore size. If you need any help selected a motor we are glad you give you some guidance. Also if you plan to use a bench grinder as your motor we need to know. The set screw that attaches the drive wheel to the shaft will damage the threads if we don’t know ahead of time.

Depending on demand your unit should ship within a week but could take as long as 2 weeks. If you need it sooner please contact us before purchasing and we will do our best to work something out. Please note that weekends and holidays don’t count as business days. Also the grinder looks slightly different than in the photos, we have made some slight changes but doesn’t effect the function of the grinder. Some the hardware may be different than the photos as well, again it all functions the same I just looks slightly different.

Belt Grinders can be dangerous by design. Please use caution. Keep your fingers away from the belt. Ensure the power cord is unplugged when changing the belt. ALWAYS wear safety glasses and a face shield, you only get one set of eyes. If you are using a bench grinder ensure the belt is removed to use the opposing side to grind or polish. Also keep in mind you have two lungs but need both to live, please wear a respirator to protect from grinding dust.
Please note the the steel may have scratches or blemishes prior to us recieving. Also keep in mind the grinder doesn’t come painted. We do our best to remove all mill scale to give you a nice painting surface but it’s not guaranteed as we do not use harsh chemicals.
