The unit you will get can work in both left and right hand tracking wheel set-ups. It serves the same purpose but it is more versatile. The default setting: the tracking wheel is mounted on the right hand side of the tracking arm. It is good for all belts not wider than 2-1/4"

This tracking/idle wheel assembly
is ready made component
and designed to fit many belt sander projects.
You need to position this unit in the right place and tighten two bolts on its bottom. Then hook up the rear tension spring. There may be necessary to add or remove spacer washers
from the wheel shaft.
The Idle/Trucking Wheel
is 3” OD x 2-1/4” wide (convex for better tracking). It has
1/2” ID, Exceptional Quality, top of the lane
ABEC-7
sealed bearing pressed into pockets and is precision made of
machined aluminum.
The arm is made of cold rolled steel 8-3/4" long x 2" wide and 3/8" thick.
This
proven design represents the
highly adaptable assembly that can be successfully used in variety of projects. Can be welded if required.
It will be shipped partially dissembled in order to minimize shipping box.
