These 14" Deep Drip Watering Spikes, which come in a package of 10, can be inserted into the ground next to a new, established, or struggling tree or plant in order to send water, oxygen, and fertilizer directly to the root zone.
These tree watering stakes / spikes work well with drip irrigation systems, flood irrigation, and garden hoses to quickly send water directly to the root zone of trees and plants, while conserving your water usage by up to 50%. You can also use these spikes with water soluble fertilizers to send nutrients to the root zone of your trees and shrubs, helping to maintain its health and growth.
The 14" long models are best used on shallow rooted plants, such as potted plants, shrubs and vines. They also are used on small trees that are newly planted, established, or struggling to grow.

Insert a Deep Drip Watering Spike into the soil right next to your desired tree or shrub and use a hammer to bash it in. The spikes are made of strong ABS plastic material, designed for many years of use. The cap is UV protected and serves as a protective and reinforced cover, so it can withstand multiple hammer blows. Just make sure the spikes are inserted low enough in the ground so that the top will not get hit with a lawn mower. The multiple holes in the shaft have inner mesh filters that will allow water to flow down the roots, while preventing dirt and debris from entering and clogging the stake.
