The Tricker's x Division Road C.F. Stead Snuff Kudu Reverse Bourton Brogue Derby Shoe is an exclusive collaboration with the definitive maker of English Country footwear, using a premium golden brown full-grain reversed Kudu leather upper paired with a Goodyear commando sole. This Division Road Bourton utilizes the reverse side of Snuff Kudu tanned in the UK by the storied C.F. Stead, known for making the finest versions of Kudu in the world. Kudu is an antelope from southern Africa, with skins that are remarkably flexible and strong while also containing distinct and unique grain character. These hides have been put through the CFS Janus tannage, which results in a high luster, finely sanded nap on the flesh side with full-grain outdoor ready durability. The Bourton is one of Tricker's original brogue derby shoes and features the signature medallion and wingtip design with refined brogue and punching details throughout. All Tricker's undergo 260 individual steps in which craftsmen include a mulling concoction to infuse the uppers with oils, a wooden shank, a corking compound from a century-old recipe and exquisite English finishing. This derby's elegant silhouette is achieved by using the w2298 Last that has an urban dress shape with a slightly extended toe that accommodates a variety of foot types. This results in a simple boardroom-to-beachhead focused shoe that combines country footwear build-quality with a modern form, made to the refined craftsmanship standards expected from a Tricker's. With its natural Barbour storm welt and midsole, a British made Goodyear commando sole and brown eyelets, this is a shoe that highlights sock pairings while taking a classic to refined heights. As England's oldest shoe maker, Royal warrant holder, originator of the country boot and one of the first and few still utilizing traditional Goodyear welting to the highest standards of quality in the industry, a Tricker's truly is made to last a lifetime in all conditions.
