    Description

newspaper vending box plastic street free distribution.
Hi, I have several extra used plastic street vending boxes.
They vary in color (red and black).
I have removed the labels from all of them (quite a bit of work), and somewhat cleaned them.
Some are old and faded, some are better looking.  Some are black. Some are red.
Some look real good. Some could use a coat of plastic paint (home depot, that's what I did to some).
I find that the front plastic on some is old and not that good. You spray it with WD-40 every few weeks and it stays clear. Otherwise, it oxidizes like old plastic headlights on cars. I'm told you can WD-40 them, then clean off the oil somehow, then clear coat with a sealer, and it will stay for a year or more, but have not bothered. Outdoors, they stay OK, just clean with WD-40 every few weeks (the older ones).
Not sure what else to say.
If you can find a way to get these to you, great. I'll load them on your truck, or your shipper's truck.
    I find I have extras.
With labels on, they look pretty good.
Some are made in the USA. Some are made in Canada.
BOXES ARE LOCATED ABOUT 15 minutes south of the New Hampshire border in Massachusetts.
I can fit probably 7 in the back of a small pickup truck. To move more, you need something else (trailer?).
I had purchased a TON of these in the past, and had them shipped multiple ways (shipper, personal person using a U-Haul, etc.).
Again, these are old, used, dirty, some could use a can of paint from Home Depot that does plastic (that's what I did), but most look like what you see.  If you come here, you can pick and choose from the lot, or buy it all. Oh, and if you don't like the big FREE on them, well, you can go over it with a bumper sticker or something, or get a local glass place to make new door fronts. They screw onto hinges so can be replaced. OH: also, some have lots of sand in them, some have very little. The sand is used to weight them down so they don't tip. They also have holes in the back to hold down with a cable or small chain for security and to prevent tipping.
They'll hold a TABLOID sized newspaper (folded to 8.5 x 11) or magazines and such. NOT for use with full-sized daily newspapers.
