Over the past decade we have been purchasing and accumulating 1000's of postcards, photographs, negatives, color slides and transparencies. Most were purchased from estates in the Chicago area. In age the range from the late 1800's all through the 1900's up until 1975 or so. Anything newer then that we tended to shy away from.
None
of the postcards that we are selling are modern day reproductions, printed by
an inkjet or laser printer.
All
are in the format in which we purchased them.
That said, let our pictures be your guide. Most everything you'll need to know about these postcards will be spelled out in the title and images we provide. However, if you have questions we are always pleased to hear from our customers.
Shipping Domestic-
When selecting "STANDARD SHIPPING" at checkout your item is shipped at a reduced cost and without the benefit of tracking. If you would prefer not to take this risk you can upgrade to "USPS FIRST CLASS MAIL" and tracking will be provided. We have added the "STANDARD SHIPPING" option in order to address high shipping cost for lower valued items.

If you would prefer not to take this risk you can upgrade to "USPS FIRST CLASS MAIL" and tracking will be provided. We have added the "STANDARD SHIPPING" option in order to address high shipping cost for lower valued items. Low cost shipping options have all but disappeared, what used to cost -5 is now in excess of -12.
Combined Shipping
- We are happy to combine shipping in order to save you money. Please use the
ADD TO CART
feature when purchasing more then one item, the feature will combine your order and charge you the proper shipping amount. When we are able to we'll combine your order and refund any excess shipping to you.

- We do not use stock photos, the pictures you see are of the actual item. Please examine the pictures, as they are part of the description. We do our best to represent our items as accurately as possible. However there may be
specifics
that you may need addressed so please do not hesitate to contact us before you make your purchase, we'll be pleased to assist you.
Order Cancellation Policy-
Until recent policy changes by PayPal and eBay order cancellation was a non-issue. Recent changes imposed by PayPal have caused a domino effect that enriches both PayPal and eBay and penalizes the seller, all because a buyer wished to cancel an order that they committed to merely minutes prior. To help you understand below is an example of a recent transaction whereby the buyer changed their mind.
Purchase Price- 5.00
PayPal Fee- .45
eBay Final Value Fee- .31
In the past when an order was canceled full refund was immediately made and we were left to assume a {{detail_product_description}}.30 PayPal fee, which is reasonable. Now however PayPal charges the entire fee of .45 to the seller. To compound this issue if the seller does not refund 100% of funds paid, eBay then does not refund the Final Value Fees. Consequently leaving the seller with an expense of .76, all for an order cancellation, with no income to offset it. We understand "cost of doing business", what we don't understand is this incredible expense as a "cost of not doing business".
Until PayPal and/or eBay address this flaw in their charges we will reserve the right to withhold BOTH PayPal and eBay fees from any refund processed. Prior to doing this you'll be given the option to make separate payment to us for the PayPal fee, should you do that we'll refund your order at 100%. Our hope is that this measure is temporary. I think you may agree that charging a seller these fees for a buyers mind change is quite excessive.

Brand New
- Never been used.
Like New
- Perhaps used, shows no wear.
Excellent
- Appears like new but may show some minor wear.
Good
- Used, but well taken care of.
Fair
- "Used but not abused". May have minor flaws or heavy wear.
Below Average
- Rarely do we sell such items, unless they are vintage or collectibles. They show significant wear and may need mending or repair.
