WISCONSIN STATE PATROL LICENSE PLATE 350 MATCHING SET LOW NUMBER NEAR MINT

I am culling a few pieces from my license plate collection. Some were acquired from Dairyland License Plate Collector's events, others from identifying special plates that I added to my own plate collection. I have more auctions up so I invite you to follow my uploads including NOS sets of early 70’s plates.
This particular set of Wisconsin State Patrol #350 plates were acquired 10 years ago from a friend of mine who retired from the State Patrol in the early 1990's. These were his plates and his badge number he was assigned throughout his career.
The 50 Year plate 1939 - 1989 was actually on his cruiser for a period of time.  It shows some wear in the corners, the red, white and blue Wisconsin State Patrol shield has excellent color and is unmarked. Overall it's in very good condition-certainly presents well enough for display on its own.
The 1970’s era white and black Wisconsin State Patrol plate is the cream of the crop. It is near perfect in appearance with only very light washer scuffs surround the 4 holes. The black paint is flawless and the white background has a like new sheen which can be seen in the photos.
These plates will be sold together as a set.  What a perfect gift for a police officer or for a hot rodder with a 350 engine!
A very rare matching set of quality 40-50 year old law enforcement plates which I received from the retired trooper himself.
